Call for abstracts –ACPIVR Conference & AGM in Brighton 27th June 2026

The call for abstracts is open to both ACPIVR and non ACPIVR members.

Abstracts are invited using the following methodologies:

  • Qualitative
  • Quantitative
  • Mixed methods
  • Clinical audit
  • Service evaluation and quality improvement
  • Systematic review
  • Case studies

Submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed and scored. The two top scoring abstracts will be invited to present their abstract orally at the conference. Prizes will be provided to the two top scoring abstracts. Other abstracts accepted will be asked to present their abstract in poster format. Poster abstracts will be available for viewing during breaks within the conference.

Successful poster and oral abstracts will be published in ACPIVR’s Journal – Balance Focus.

General requirements:

  1. Abstracts must be written and submitted in English
  2. Maximum word limit is 400 words
  3. Abstracts should be written under the following headings: Background, Methods, Findings, Conclusions.
  4. Authors must report any conflicts of interest
  5. The presenting author must register and purchase a ticket to the conference
  6. Email correspondence will be with the person submitting the abstract. The author who is presenting must be named on the abstract but does not need to be the first named author
  7. All presentations must describe original work to which all the authors have made a significant contribution

Key dates:

Abstract submission opens: 18th November 2025

Abstract submission closes: 31st March 2026

Abstract submission outcome notification: 15th May 2026
